Purpose of the Job
As a Barista you are to provide excellent customer service by preparing and serving high quality coffee beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers. You should have a passion for coffee and a keen interest in delivering a positive and memorable experience for every customer.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, teas and other beverages.
- Use espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to make high quality drinks.
- Ensure consistency and high quality standards for all beverages.
- Operate and clean brewing and serving equipment daily.
- Keep the work area, counters, equipment and seating areas clean and organized.
- Wash and maintain coffee mugs, glassware, and utensils.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food and drink preparation.
- Monitor inventory levels of Coffee beans, syrups, milk and other supplies.
- Assist in ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Work as part of a team to provide fast efficient service.
