Junior IT Project Manager and Data Analyst

Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager / Data Analyst / Developer to support our technology and data initiatives. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for technology project coordination. You will assist in planning and executing IT projects, while also supporting data analysis tasks that drive business insights and informed decision-making
Role and Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and manage IT-related projects; especially development projects, possibly on proprietary systems, web or mobile app.
- Prepare project documentation, including meeting agendas, status reports, and action logs
- Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, suppliers, and business users
- Assist on web / data / technical aspects of broader fundraising campaigns and projects.
- Respond to user requests for data and reporting based on a good understanding of user needs; and write SQL queries.
- Ensure data and reporting requests are of good quality; and review data and reporting before referring to users.
- Diagnose reporting and data issues and manage resolution.
- Perform analyses as needed to identify trends and patterns.
- Support risk management and change control processes.
- Play a role in ensuring data quality and managing any data cleanup across systems.
- Assist / oversee the process of streamlining, updating and developing standard Power BI and other reports and dashboards for the organization.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics/ IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Preferred Skills
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong IT and Data background.
- SQL background and ability to write data queries.
- Data analysis, visualisation and reporting skills.
- Good data awareness and management skills.
- Good communication skills with non-IT users.
Advantageous
- Knowledge of Power BI platform
- Strong development background
