The grave is the only physical connection to our departed loved one and making sure that the site is well-maintained shows respect and honour to the legacy of the departed. The Eternal Care Programme at Westpark Cemetery has been created for this purpose - to ensure that the graves of loved ones are cleaned regularly and that minor issues are repaired.

What does this service include?

  • Regular communication regarding the status of the grave, including receiving a Whatsapp image after every cleaning cycle
  • Monthly cleaning of the grave and weeding around it
  • Repair of ‘bed and chips’ (if collapsed)
  • Repair of cement surrounds
  • Repair of silver/gold lettering
  • Grouting
  • For major repairs an outsourced quote will be obtained

Cost of service: R195 per grave monthly
